The EAF Tap Hole Filling Mass is used in the tap hole of the EAF to prevent molten steel from flowing into the tap hole before tapping. On the exposed surface of the filling mass produces a sintered layer thick enough to prevent molten-steel penetration, and at the same time, it is thin enough that when the iron hole is opened and filled, it will break under the pressure of the molten steel. The material under the sintered layer can flow out freely.
The EAF Tap Hole Filling Mass of YRT's has the characteristics of easy installation, safe use, non-floating, high self-opening rate, and no pollution.
